I picked him up on Friday, to cuddle him (when I do this, I like to hold him on his back in my arms like a baby, and he tolerates it), and I noticed a little red, bald patch down by his "boy parts". No wonder he's been licking! Thank goodness it's just a little owie. Not too long ago, he had a little sore on his belly that he licked bald and kept biting the scab off of... so this time around, we decided to get him a cone collar.
Bilbo is surprisingly small. When I brought him home the collar, it went so far over his head that he wouldn't be able to eat or drink, so I made the executive decision to cut it down for him. He's much happier about it, although still not keen on wearing the collar.
His sad little expression reminds me of the little African kids on TV that you can send money to. He has even started to pout, which of course, is both hilarious and heartbreaking at the same time. He's visibly embarrassed, and I can't help but feel bad!!

At least his little wound will heal though, and everything will be back to normal in a few days... hopefully.
